The Botanical Gardens of Roseau is dating from 1890 and has about 40 acres that are principally an arboretum. During our visit here, I saw the collection of plant species from every corner of the tropical world, icluding an orchid house. I have seen also the bird sanctuary with several Jacquot and Sisserou parrots. The gardens are in the eastern side of Roseau, at the base of Morne Bruce.
