A naturalist's paradise: Morne Trois Pitons National Park

Posted 1 year ago by jhony in response to avatar bekky's question: I'm a journalist and I have to write an extensive feature-report regarding Morne Trois Pitons National Park. Any places inside I should focus on? (give a different answer) .

The park is quite small, 25 square miles, but full of oddities: head for the Boiling Lake in the southern part of the park, claimed to be the largest fumarole on earth. Then, there's the Valley of Desolation with steaming mud heaps and boiling vents. The atmosphere is more Hawaiian than Caribbean, but you'll not have any difficulty to find what to write about!
